I Want a Husband

Not too long ago I ran into a friend whose physical appearance had appeared to withstand the test of time. She was absolutely radiant. Fresh skin, carefully applied make up, an outfit that was carefully put together; including matching shoes, purse, belt, the works. I had known for some time that she was a student, nothing more. She studied in the late mornings and shopped in the early afternoon. She attended the gym with a professional trainer. She ordered dinner in. She got her hair done by the best stylist several times a week. At a young age she married a man that was able to be the perfect husband or so thus she defined him. That day I came to a conclusion, I want a husband too.
I want a husband who will wake up in the earliest hour of the morning and prepare for work. He will prepare his own breakfast and make some for me to dine on when I awake. I want a husband who will brew the coffee and leave the pot on to insure that I am awakened by the aroma invading my perfect little nostrils. Continue reading

While we are now able to and are encouraged to enter the workforce and provide for ourselves and out families, I find myself yearning for a time of our mothers and grandmothers.
