Today was awesome! The sun came out and I finally felt warm enough to leave the many layers, coats included, at home. Dmitry and I had lunch at 94th Aero Squadron Buffet near Van Nuys airport with a couple of friends, and I must say the food options were endless. The bit of a funny thing is that the windows of the restaurant literally face the airport. Therefore, the people sitting outside (we did not) hear the absolutely obnoxious sound of planes taking off. It’s quite a picture. After lunch we decided to capture the moment, and after several jokes from the group in regards to me posing next to planes and hay, I got the pictures completed. I wasn’t completely satisfied with the outcome, as I often am not, therefore we added two more at a different location later in the day.
For some reason I have been feeling colorful. I have completely ignored my signature black, and crossed the line. Now it seems I need a new wardrobe! So I started the shopping extravaganza with the purchase of this yellow Zara clutch. I originally saw it on Blair Eadie from Atlantic Pacific and absolutely had to have it. I must say that it looks even better in real life than it does online. It’s suede, soft and super hot! Simply a must have for those not attached to black!
Great day to all!
Xoxo K

I remember when a year and a half ago, I found a photo of a pair of ripped jeans on one of the blogs, and knew immediately that I had to have them. I searched quite addictively (my newly invented word) on and off since, without any success. I finally found them at Bloomingdales.com. They are by Seven for All Mankind, and I’m completely in love! Grandma on the other hand, not so much. Apparently, she thinks that since they have holes in them, I’m broke. They come in a non ripped version also, however I had to have the holes. I think it’s that whole moment of trashed boyfriend jeans that came and went, and I never really caught on as they did not in any way flatter my figure. These however are super comfy and pretty to look at. I’m quite glad I didn’t fall for the boyfriend jean hype and saved myself for the fitted pair. Also, they are quite long and can be worn over heels, or cuffed, as I’m wearing them, with either flats or heels. What do you think about them?
