I love puffy dresses. Any dress with a puffy skirt and a fitted top is bound to find itself in my closet. I love the dresses that remind me of the 60′s, where skirts were full and bosoms covered, yet curves were never hidden. I love the lady like feel to them and am drawn to their display of femininity. Currently, the Spring lines feature these dresses in shorter ham lines and bright colors which make them even more fun. I love this dress because it’s unique in it’s color and the fit is absolutely fantastic. It has a slip that I couldn’t use as it just didn’t seem to fit right, but thankfully I already had a slip that worked with this dress. I wasn’t really sure which shoes to wear as black seemed a little inappropriate and ballet flats which I own in pale colors didn’t do the trick. I saw these pumps at Nordstroms and had to have them. They are very feminine, yet because they are covered in shiny spikes, they fit the modern trend. However, I did have to exchange them three times as they run quite big.
Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day!
