This past weekend I had this obsessive desire to stuff my face with cake batter. This stuff is literally addictive. The problem I have run into is that cake batter isn’t sold in a package. Sure I can get it in an ice cream flavor, but that’s just not going to do the job.
I googled various recipes online and finally found one that was understandable even for an “I don’t belong in the kitchen” kind of girl.

Truffles
1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup yellow cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 treason salt
4 tablespoons milk
2 table spoons sprinkles

Truffle Coating
16 ounces almond bark (I used white chocolate chips)
4 tablespoons yellow cake mix

INSTRUCTIONS

Truffles
Throw flower, came mix, butter, sugar, vanilla, salt, and milk into a bowl and mix.
If you have an electric mixer, your project will be just that much easier.
Add sprinkles to the consistency and mix in by hand.
Roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on wax paper.
Place the balls in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to chill.

Truffle Coating
Melt almond bark in the microwave for 1 minute
Once almond bark is melted, stir in cake mix

Final steps
Dip the balls in the coating and set on wax paper.
Place in refrigerator for 30 minutes.

NOW EAT!
